Flu vaccination campaign<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The annual flu vaccination campaign is\nSoon on your doorstep! This is also a great time to help your patients.\ninformation about the LSP and to ask them for permission to access medical data from\nto be allowed to change. In addition, the patients who participate in the flu vaccination campaign,\noften belong to the more vulnerable group of patients. It is particularly for them\nauthorisation for the LSP, so that they can be used, for example, to\nthe out-of-hours GP service can be better served. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

VZVZ, the national manager of the\nLSP, can provide practice support to practices that have been\n(after 1 November 2018) and relatively few authorisations have been granted.\nhave recorded. These practices have been approached by us. Registrations are\nbasically completed; if you want to know if VZVZ can still support your practice.\nplease let us know as soon as possible. WID Check\nin general practice<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

When registering a new\npatient, the healthcare provider is obliged to provide (one-off) proof of the identity of the\npatient on the basis of a Legal Identification Document\n(WID). With a WID you can think of things like a passport, Dutch identity card,\nDutch driver’s license or a Dutch alien’s document. The control of\nthe WID, must be correctly recorded in the healthcare information system. In the\nmanual of your healthcare information system you will find step-by-step how to perform the WID check\nin the system. Can’t figure this out? Please contact\nyour supplier or with us. If the WID check is not correct,\nthe patient’s consent to you will not be recorded in the\nreference index of the LSP. As a result, the file of the\nthe patient is not available, for example for the out-of-hours GP service. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tip: if you want to check if\nall consents of your patients are actually correct with the LSP\nlogged in, then run a query in your information system on ‘Opt-in – no\nWID’. Then you will get an overview of patients who have been rechecked by the WID\nmust be carried out. Also consult the manual of your\nhealthcare information system. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Medication data\nvia the LSP<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Did you know that\nit is possible to access your patients’ medication data via the LSP.\nDo you have any questions in your GP practice? This increases medication safety\nconsiderably. Medication dispensed by (outpatient) pharmacies, e.g.\non the basis of prescribed discharge medication by the hospital, it is\nand can be transferred to your own HIS.
