There are three service pharmacies in the South Holland North region, namely the DagNacht pharmacy in Alphen aan den Rijn, the Alrijne Pharmacy in Leiderdorp and Dienstapotheek Bollenstreek in Voorhout. These three service pharmacies are all located in the immediate vicinity of a location of Huisartsenposten De LIMES. Pharmaceutical care during night hours (23:00-08:00h) is currently only provided from Dienstapotheek Bollenstreek. This makes it the only ‘night pharmacy’; The two other service pharmacies close at 23:00. The current night pharmacy is therefore not centrally located in the South Holland North region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In addition, there has been an ambition in the care chain for some time to organise the pharmaceutical care offer during night hours from the same central location, in addition to the largest emergency department (ED) in the region and a GP post. The SSDR has therefore decided to move the night pharmacy to the Alrijne Hospital Leiderdorp. In terms of accessibility, more residents of the Zuid-Holland Noord region will improve than deteriorate and the average travel time will decrease.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In a special collaboration, the SSDR and the Alrijne Hospital have realized a night pharmacy in the new outpatient pharmacy of the Alrijne Hospital Leiderdorp under the name “Night Pharmacy De LIMES”. The relocation of the night pharmacy will take place on Tuesday 19 April. At the same time, this means that from that date onwards, Dienstapotheek Bollenstreek will close at 23:00 in the evening.
