Vacancy VIM triage nurse location Alphen/Leiderdorp
28-03-2023 -by Elke Koestering – quality officer
Within the LIMES we have two VIM committees: a VIM committee for the Alphen/Leiderdorp locations and a VIM committee for the Voorhout location. For the VIM committee location Alphen/Leiderdorp we are looking for a VIM triagist.
Currently, the VIM committee Alphen/Leiderdorp consists of 2 doctors, 2 triage nurses (one of whom is going to stop and we are therefore looking for a replacement), 1 doctor’s assistant, 1 secretary and 1 quality officer.
For the VIM committee, it is important that you have a lot of integrity. The VIM committee investigates VIM reports. Here you are asked to think along with the knowledge and skills from your role as a triagist. You are also requested to help with an investigation. So thinking along about possible causes, checking how it went, listening back to conversations where necessary and/or asking colleagues how exactly a situation went. All this can be mentally taxing because it involves colleagues and situations that have not gone optimally.
The VIM committee meets about 6-8 times a year. The meetings (generally) take place on Monday evenings (often online, a few times a year on location). The amount of work depends on the number of VIM reports and the complexity of the VIM reports, but will be about 40 hours of work per year. You can claim additional hours for attending the committees and conducting investigations.
