Let’s introduce ourselves

Dear colleague, I started at Huisartsenposten De LIMES on 3 October. The first week has been a great week with many conversations, introductions and of course a lot of reading material.
A warm welcome!
My name is Aletta van de Watering, I’m 52 years old and I’m married to Arjan. We have two daughters aged 24 and 21 who both no longer live at home but still love to come home. I have worked at Huisartsenposten Rijnmond for 23 years, first as a triage nurse and the last 11 years as manager of two posts. Before my career in primary care, I worked for years as a nurse in various hospitals. In recent years, I have noticed that I think primary emergency care is a very nice industry. GP care is so important in neighbourhoods and in people’s lives. I would like to contribute to primary emergency care in order to guarantee good care during ANW hours.
Next year my husband and I, together with our labrador Gijs, will move to Katwijk where we will enjoy a new house and beautiful surroundings. I look forward to a great collaboration with you as colleagues, with the general practitioners and with the chain partners. Feel free to drop by for a cup of coffee in Voorhout!
