A look back at the Strategy Meetings

On Tuesday 6 and 13 December, the strategy meetings of GP posts De LIMES took place. We are very pleased with the turnout and the enthusiasm with which employees have started talking to each other about our joint future.
During the 1stevening at ECC Leiden, no fewer than 50 colleagues jointly put a dot on the horizon about our future. The fact that we are going to shape that future together as a team, in a good atmosphere and in a pleasant workplace were important results. Divided into 8 working groups, a lot of work has been done and on the first evening we have come up with wishes and goals for the future; For example, wouldn’t it be great if there was 1 transcendent file with all the patient’s data? Or that more patients are using digital triage, so that there is less pressure on the phone? And what do you think of a free(er) choice in working days and times?
During the2nd winter evening at the beautiful location of Poelgeest Castle in Oegstgeest, about 70 colleagues continued the earlier brainstorming session. Where the first time the focus was mainly on “what do we want”, this time it was mainly about “how do we get there”. Thanks to everyone’s enthusiasm, an enormous amount of ideas and information has been collected that can be used in the coming years to work towards a future-proof strategy for general practitioners ANW care. In the new year, the focus will be on the low-hanging fruit; What can (or should) be improved tomorrow? Your help will be desperately needed. Because if there’s one thing we’ve noticed in the past two sessions, it’s that you can go very far TOGETHER.
The findings of both evenings, led by general practitioner Jojanneke Kant and care administrator Jeroen van der Noordaa, will be summarised and will be followed up in the new year. We will keep you informed about this because we really need you again.
